Sending VIP as Gifts

It's said we have a feature to send VIPs as gifts. Can we do gift this to only our friends, or anyone in the site ?

If so, is there a way the receiver could decline the gift/VIP ?

Otherwise, could we make it so we that can gift it with only friends.

Sending someone a VIP out of the blue, when they are not even your friend, seem wickedly weird. That's all.

Agreed, but sometimes it's used in unhealthy ways to try take control of people. Just a way to protect some vulnerable people out there

I agree, as nice as it can be there are some who use it as a tool or excuse to be able to cross boundaries. I was lucky a friend gifted mine no strings attached but I have seen the other.
