Mods need to strictly stick to removing innapropriate content, dick pics, spamming, etc!

Hello,

Either if you are a mod or user here, daily porn watchers have less emotional control and are more prone do to as they like and not strict rational thinking, so its more neccesary to have clear guidelines for mods.

I recieved a warning for posting bdsm content in Older for younger room (this is not a kick apeal, just a story to prove a point) . it was a mildly rough fuck in black and white, no pain, no tools)
then i was kicked from the room for an hour for a gif where it was a rough fuck with a mild head pull to the back. not even looked like a bdsm setup.
if mods dont understand the difference between bdsm and rough or even brutal fuck, they need to have more clear guidelines to apply.
either this or they yap in main all the time and use it as a compensating method to deal with the content they don't like (specially females mods in SFH room)

im not trying to belittle their role and the time they put in for free to make this place function properly, but if we gonna have some trigger happy people who bend rules on a bad day, when they dont like something or someone's ID, their net value doesnt makes sense at the end of the day.
you might not see this right now, but i've been here on and off for a year and its only getting worse
if you had a trained proffessional team maybe, just maybe you could have the rule that mods can make up rule on demand either if its noted before or not, but if you let anyone who is online daily become a mod, its not a good idea, specially for a porn site

Mods don’t make their own rules. In your examples, while visiting the O4Y you were warned and then kicked briefly as you continued posting images that were aggressive in nature. O4Y was never created to be a porn room. Initially, it was created as a room for those who like older/younger but as time has gone by the staff has tried to be more accommodating to those with a variety of kinks. You can always message Partygirl (Room Owner) direct with additional concerns or questions.

It sounds like SFH room may be a room that you might fit your taste better. However, if you feel like you’ve not been treated unfairly or been targeted by a mod, you can contact Tom who is the room owner. SFH is not a site room but its sheer volume of traffic might lead somone to believe that it is a site room. Nevertheless, feel free to contact Tom or any site admin with concerns directly.

It takes a certain type of person to want to be a Mod in the 1st place. Almost can guarantee they have never been in a position of power and have had control of anything in REAL life before. Either socially awkward and/or bitter towards those who arent. So they take this FALSE position of power in an internet chat room, now given the ability to DICTATE who stays or goes, and letting it all go to their heads. Same kid who wanted to be hall monitor, or adult wanting to be a cop.

I’m not sure what the moderators do for a living or what control they have over their personal lives or their social status.
Because it is non of my business.
However, If a moderator is found to be abusing others while using the tools they have at their disposal, they are removed.

The statement is your personal opinion. Assumptions might be based on incorrect or incomplete information, leading to flawed conclusions. Assumptions often reflect personal biases or stereotypes, which can result in unfair or discriminatory practices.
You are generalizing your personal opinion .. not knowing any details about the age, education, profession and experience in leadership (in real life) of moderators.
Read room rules.. play safe and have fun 👍🏻

Ok,so how do you explain Haven kicking a friend of mine from the OFY room for posting occasional YouTube music videos,a 24 hour ban for doing something that wasn't against the rules is a textbook example of abuse of power and I want something to be done about this,this happened around 3:15-3:30 Eastern yesterday afternoon......

Your “friend” can file an appeal within the forum. RA Haven is not a staff member in O4Y.
 
As PJ said, OFY has changed over time. A sudden increase in traffic a few years ago has made us probably the most diverse room on the site. The staff works hard to enforce the hard rules (bots, underage, etc.) while still managing a room with a wide range of tastes.

We want OFY to be a room for everyone but that doesn't mean it's a room for everything. There are things posted in the room that clearly belong in other rooms. That's why we use warnings and room blocks if needed.

On the topic of mod training about aggressive or edgy porn, this will always be subjective, There's very little that is black or white. You could never pick a random group of people that have the same opinion. Keep in mind that it's often not just our opinion. People contact us asking why we are allowing this or that. I don't let their opinion impact my decision, but we certainly do hear from them.

If you strongly feel that you're being treated unfairly by a mod in any site-run room I recommend that you speak to the room owner first. That would be me in OFY.
 
Dick pics aren't against site rules. Just throwing that out there.

Some of us want to be a mod cause we want to help out and we had issues ourselves. I for one had a stalker when I first signed up on 321. It has nothing to do with the position of power. Or the fact of my real life control or lack of control. Trust me, I think about quitting sometimes, so I can talk to my friends more. But I have made the decision to stick around and try to help out. :)
 
When I became a GM it was a surprise. I was honored and took the role seriously.

I too have heard negative stories about other GMs. Unfortunately there are many slightly true and many grossly untrue stories about the time when I was a GM. That are written by people I either had to interact with because they were breaking rules or people who were my detractors and wanted me to fail from the beginning. Since then people have come to me and expressed their disbelief at the character assassination and dehuminization of me that occurred over a 4 day period.

Bring a GM is not a paid position. It is voluntary. You give up your time for the betterment of the 321 site.

It grossly cuts into your time at 321 and during my tenure I saw some things that I had rather I didn't.

I don't regret my decision to accept the honor of the GM position. I made mistakes like everyone else.

I respect the tough job that everyone "in charge" has to keep 321 safe for all users. It is a mountainous task.

As for all the people that took their turn at the character assassination and dehuminization of me I wish them well and that they treat people better than they treated me. Perhaps they should look in the mirror.
