DM auto report

I was threatened with R@p# in Dm last night. Hit report dm and nothing was done. It's not the first time dm report was ignored. GMs in general seem lazy lately. I admin a VIP room. There was over 30 incestuous post in main+ captioned pics. When I asked GM to come to the room. He said to copy and paste every dm and send via DM.

I have had similar experiences. I know from conversation many women on the site have. I appreciate that GMs are kept busy and do what they do as volunteers. Some are very good and very professional. But rape culture is alive and well on 321 and too many GMs do not take it seriously enough. If you know anything about the stats of experience of rape/sexual assault/sexual violence it is obvious that statistically a substantial number of site users (of all genders, but especially women and trans women) will be survivors of rape or other sexual abuse.

Quite aside from that, a "sweeping under the carpet" of the language and behaviour of rape culture along the lines of "well it *is* a sex site" or "boys will be boys" is unacceptable. I presume the site does not condone such language and behaviour, but I have been told essentially those things by GMs (if anything at all happens following a report) as well as "simply use your ignore button". That was in response to reporting a very clear, detailed and specific rape threat. Not tackling obviously unacceptable abusive language and behaviour is immoral, unacceptable in any context, and dangerous.

R|**e threats are not allowed. You did the right thing reporting it.. Just keep reporting when stuff happens.


VIP rooms are owned and managed by users like you. I suggest if your're a mod in that room block the person that is doing. Then have someone else flag the posts. GM's mod Site owned rooms. There been times I have been messaged to help in a VIP room and there was very reasons I can't say why but there was no way I could go into the VIP room. The best options is to have someone flag it.

Yes, I just kick them out! Ideally, they need to be discipline in main so people can see something is being done and it would serve as a warning to others, doing it behind closed doors does nothing for the moral of people having to put up with that sort of shit.
 
I have stopped with reporting. In the beginning I was very keen to report people usually for incest, underage or other illegal actions. I thought it is our obligation to help the site get rid of such things. Never get feedback and I've seen same persons in the rooms after I reported them. Not to mention that some of the GM's (not all) I've talked to were very rude and basically kicked me out of their PM. Illegal is Illegal, no matter where it happens, in the site owned rooms or private rooms.

Yes, we know it's a sexchat site, but that doesn't mean people should have to put up with vile uninvited PMs and then never hear the outcome if it is reported.

A lot also depends on what admins are on duty in the site owned rooms and if they are paying attention, what one admin will let slide another won't.

It was a DM ,not posted in my room. I reported DM
 
All GMs are well aware that rape threats are not permitted. They should be taking action. Please keep in mind that some GMs will address that type of behavior privately in a DM. I will not! If it is reported to me and I see it, generally I will correct that person in the open room to send a loud message. Please keep reporting those type of incidents. Ty

The correct action re a mod that is doing their job in a way that doesn’t sync with 321 staff standards is to report the mod to me.. or CM.. or PJ or Doomsday with proof.

VIP rooms are created by chatters with VIP accounts. They staff and run their rooms. The room admins they have appointed have the ability to room mute and room block. There’s the flag system built in to report. The flags are seen and dealt with by GMs. There’s also an ignore feature built in to enhance your chat experience. It’s unfortunate you’re having such a negative experience. If you have helpful suggestions please feel free to post. So far, I’ve read what you think isn’t being done.. and I get it. You can’t possibly see the staffing side of chat to know the true work these people voluntarily put in to make yours and everyone else’s chat experience positive. Mods do not take action and then report back to the chatter that complained with the action that was taken. That’s unreasonable and would be impossible, not to mention inappropriate.
