Helping find the right room from the get go

Hey. I had a suggestion for when you log into the site to prevent/reduce confusion as well as reduce the workload on mods through having a room list pop up to be picked from when you first sign in so people could choose the right room in regards to what they’re looking for and not having to be warned, muted or banned for posting the wrong images or discussing things better suited in other rooms. I know you can change rooms from the side bar but I do think this will be clearer and kind of force horny users to read and actually be more efficient. Hopefully this gets added and proves to be beneficial.

This is the screen I get as soon as I log in, so unless you have something entirely different in mind, that feature already exists.Screenshot_20250717-213207_DuckDuckGo.jpg

It isn't uncommon for people to post gifs they enjoy or seek conversations, roleplay, gif exchanges, photo sharing, etc in a group where they believe what they are posting is appropriate. We know this. That is why we redirect them to the appropriate group, if we think they were mistaken believing there was overlap where there was none. It's really only when they don't listen or attempt to circumvent the decision when it becomes an issue, otherwise, it's the nature of the beast so to speak.

Oh yes I meant something like that but it’s not the first thing that pops up for normal users so I thought it would be good if that was the first thing that pops up so people could kind of read the names and descriptions and go to the right room for their needs

That makes sense. I guess It was more an attempt to kind of reduce the confusion and mistakes in posting or messaging something that’s better in another room. It would be a cool addition but I understand why there would be less of a need for it. Just hope it’s under consideration for the most part. Thanks for the reply though.

It is the first thing if you log out and log back in again. I just doesn't pop up if you are already logged in.

If one were to read the banners that pop up when they enter a group, they may find themselves less confused. The titles of the groups are usually a strong hint as well. Ie Roleplay is for people seeking roleplay. Older for Younger is for people who are into age gaps and who want to talk to one another. What they do in pms is up to them. BDSM is for people who are into BDSM. Sluts for Humiliation is for people who are into heavier aspects of humiliation and degradation. Men have no business being in the Lesbian group, it's for lesbians. Similarly, the Gay group is for Homosexual Men who wish to interact and women wouldn't really find much need to be in there. So on and so on.

Then there is always the option of contacting room staff either VIP or Site and they could always tell you more about the group and what it is about. I can't speak for CM, Admin or the site Admins on whether or not it will be under consideration, that isn't my place. I can say that the site is pretty user friendly, but nothing will be void of effort on the part of the user to make sure they are in the correct group for what they seek.

That's always been the screen I get when I log in. You might just be closing the tab when you decide to go offline instead, which would lead to you being in the same room you were in when you did.

However, regardless of the situation it's still quite easy to figure out what things are suitable for which room by looking at the descriptions in the room list and the welcome message when you enter a room. If there's anything you're unsure about, room staff will be able to assist you, and no matter what room you're in, site rules apply.

To Drex23 's point, if you merely close your browser out without physically logging out and then return later that day, three days later or a week later though it still makes you sign in with your username and password, it does put you into the last room you were in.

In order to get the roomlist you have to physically click "log out" when you are done, then when you log back in that is what you get. So I understand the situation cause I am always just put back in the room I was last in.
